How to get their first job, how to apply for an internship, how to start a career while still in college, these were the most debated topics at The Romanian Students, Professors and Researchers Conference in London.

The event was organised under the patronage of the Embassy of Romania in London, The British Romanian Chamber of Commerce and the Raţiu Foundation, with the kind support of Smith & Felton and in co-operation with the Romanian Cultural Institute- London.

This year’s edition had as main theme “How to: a Pragmatic Approach” – pieces of advice from professionals, practical and easy to apply. As at Smith&Felton we are always looking for young blood, to bring the infusion of new ideas and enthusiasm in the company, we launched during the conference our first internship. The program will start in 2012 and it is dedicated to those who study business management, finance, and law. This will give students the chance to get fully involved in our activities, training in the fundamental business skills and working in contact with our clients.

The Romanian Students, Professors and Researchers Conference is a joint initiative of the Romanian students and the Embassy of Romania in London, having as a main objective the creation of links between Romanian students, professors and researchers. Debating on various suggested themes of interests to all of them, as well as promoting the existing career opportunities in Romania and in the UK.
